What is the Showcase Cookout: What is the showcase cookout? The UK Black Player Showcase sets every athlete who desires on the path for recruiting – college or pro soccer of about 1,000 people. We embrace the entire athlete – we welcome all players and aim to showcase and build onto their talent and authenticity. The Richmond Community we serve will feel the “Inclusive not Exclusive” UK approach to preparing our athletes - we are ecstatic to introduce UK and the game of soccer to a new audience. The UK Black Player Showcase is about providing opportunity to an underserved community – black athlete navigating the soccer development territory and college/pro recruiting process.
