We trust this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We extend a warm welcome to you for your Final Interview for the Technical Director position at UNKNWN, scheduled for November 6th. UNKNWN may not be a top academy with unlimited resources and the 'best kids' in town. Instead, we are a small program driven by passion and dedication, despite being behind in various aspects of the game. Our goal is to create an environment where we can focus on reintroducing and reinforcing crucial elements of the game, including technical skills, tactics, physical conditioning, and game intelligence. Please refer to the information below for details regarding the November 6th event.

Afternoon

  • 12:00pm: Arrive at UK Court Office Space - SCOR, 1385 Overbrook Rd Richmond VA 23220

  • 12:15pm Meeting Interview with Lauryn Hutchinson

  • 1:30pm Interview ends + Lauryn Sets up field 1 for session

  • 2:00pm: Na’im Shadows Lauryn’s Private session with Abby Fontenot & Zach Snoddy

  • 3:30pm Private Session ends

  • 4:00pm Snack Break / Na’im & Lauryn chat if need be (Cheese, Fruit, Crackers)

  • 4:30pm: Na’im Sets up his HIIT/Lift on the UK Court

About Your Sessions

5:00pm HIIT/Lift Session

This is a 60-minute HIIT/Lift session designed for a group of eight athletes with specific objectives in mind. Our primary goals include reteaching and reinforcing proper lifting techniques, focusing on optimal body mechanics, all while enhancing both strength and endurance. Although we aren't exclusively a strength and conditioning program, we benefit from the expertise of a CSCS certified professional player who assists with our program design.

In the realm of sport performance, we recognize that there are no instant solutions in a mere 60-minute session. We hold deep respect for the intricacies involved in this field and understand the depth of the work required. Instead, we would like you to see you design a comprehensive full-body training session tailored to the specific athletes mentioned above.

6:00pm Individual Technical Ball Work

This is a 60-minute individual technical ball session tailored for nine athletes who are determined to improve their football technique. Our focus is on enhancing ball control by utilizing all parts of the foot for precise touches. These athletes have faced challenges in their technical development, primarily due to inadequate youth coaching and leadership. Even at the age of 14, they continue to struggle with mastering fundamental skills.

In this session we would like to see you share one of your favorite individual ball technical training sessions. With your remarkable coaching experience, the athletes are eager to learn from you and gain a deeper appreciation for the significance of the technical aspects of the game.
